What Pirate Coffee Roasters say
A legendary varietal with Ethiopian roots, Gesha is renowned for its delicate florals and vibrant, tea-like character.
Our Shogun Gesha brings bold elegance — a quiet power in your cup. Expect layered sweetness, a silky mouthfeel, and a lingering finish that resonates like the final note of a koto.
About Shogun's Origins - Huehuetenango, Guatemala
This microlot is cultivated in the highlands of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, where cool nights, mountain air, and rich volcanic soil create ideal conditions for exceptional Gesha.
Hand-picked at peak ripeness, the cherries undergo traditional fermentation before being carefully washed and patio-dried. The result is a clean, expressive cup that balances precision and nuance.
The Shogun Collection:Introducing Shogun — Pirate Coffee’s newest line of super-premium releases. Like their namesake, Shogun coffees walk the line between tradition and rebellion: a quiet force, a master of precision.
This Gesha is the first in the collection — rare, refined, and ready to duel any other brew on your shelf.
NB: 150g bags only of this precious number, and yes, we'd rather not grind her unless you really really need us too!
