We roast our decaf coffee fresh to order to ensure that you’re receiving the most full-tasting decaf experience you can get. We source beans that have been decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, allowing caffeine to be removed from the bean by gently soaking it in a water solution. The caffeine is absorbed in the water, chemical free, and is filtered until virtually all (99.9%) of the caffeine is removed from the bean. We believe that this is the superior decaffeinating process because nasties aren’t used to decaffeinate the bean and strip the taste. The beans are then dried and roasted by our environmentally innovative, patented roasting process here at Sprocket to deliver you a cup that doesn’t cost the earth – or keep you up all night! It’s a win-win situation.
