Vella Nero

Vella Nero is a Sydney roaster started by sisters Gina, Vicky and Aileen Young in 2007, who opened the city's first on-site CBD roastery on Clarence St. The roastery, retail store and espresso bar ran there until 2015, and Vella Nero now sells online and wholesale. Most of the beans in stock are single origins from places like Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Costa Rica and Ethiopia. Limu from Ethiopia is washed and has a floral sweet cup. Mandheling Kuda Mas from Indonesia has deep, earthy richness and low acidity. Swiss Water Decaf Supremo from Colombia is the decaf, with light acidity and some nuttiness.
