Burleigh Coffee Company roasts in small batches at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. The roastery has run for over 25 years and uses a restored drum roaster made in Europe about 50 years ago. Head roaster Miles Priestley leads the roasting. Most of the beans are single origins from Colombia, Kenya, Brazil, Guatemala and Ethiopia. The Kenyan AA has citrus and blackcurrant notes, and the Colombian Excelso is a decaf with dark cocoa tones.
