The FET 47 is the solid state version of the famed U47 made by the German microphone manufacturer Neumann. We chose this name as we felt our decaf coffee represented the same tasting notes as our flagship blend with just a hint of difference. The FET 47 microphone is a more forward sounding mic which handles bass notes exceptionally well. The FET 47 is often used as a substitute to the U47 for times when you need that little difference, just like our coffee. FET47 is a single origin coffee from Colombia and decaffeinated using the chemical free ‘water’ method.

FET 47 is best brewed as espresso using the following recipe of dose, yield and time.

1:2 brew ratio (20g in for 40g out) over 30-32 seconds.

Just like it’s caffeinated bigger brother, we’ve found by just tightening this up a little, we’re able to extract the richest flavour profile
