Yirgacheffe

This Ethiopian coffee comes from the Yirgacheffe district and uses a washed process leaving clean flavours in the cup. The coffee is sweet, rich and offers flavours classically associated with Ethiopian coffee. This is a real treat for coffee lovers with a real "fruit bomb" of flavour and amazing aromatics that are very distinctive. Roasted to a medium roast level to allow the flexibility to be used in milk based drinks as well as still being used as an espresso or pour over.

The first thing you notice about this coffee straight off the bat when you open the bag is its sweet floral, almost passionfruit like, zesty aroma and this is just the start!

The flavours in the cup are clean and quite pronounced with an array of flavours from stone fruit, orange marmalade, citrus, berries and a cream like flavour. The body of the coffee is like a sweet syrup like flavour that has a dark chocolate undertone to it.
