Modus Coffee

Modus Coffee roasts in East Victoria Park, south of the river in Perth, and has run cafes in the city since 2016. Its in-house roastery, Modern Coffee, opened in 2018. Beans come straight from producers and are roasted weekly on a Loring S15. Stock is mostly Colombian single origins from Huila. James Kungu Kariuki is a washed Kenyan with notes of blackberry, caramel and dark chocolate. Elias Roa is a washed decaf from Pital with brown sugar, pear and cinnamon notes. Other roasters also sell coffee from Luis Anibal Calderón and La Virgen.
