What Mule Coffee Roasters say

Sugar cane, sweet tamarind with low red fruits acidity.

Balboa is a municipality located in the southern part of the Cauca Department, on the border with Nariño. Nestled on the western flank of the Colombian Andes at 1,700 metres above sea level, it enjoys mild temperatures ranging from 20°C to 26°C throughout the year. Due to its elevated position overlooking the Patía Valley, it is often referred to as “El Balcón del Patía” (“The Balcony of Patía”).

The producers we work with in Balboa have been cultivating coffee since 2011. Their farms are planted with 95% traditional Colombian varieties, such as Castillo, grown in ideal conditions that enhance the character and quality of the cup

This coffee is an Omniroast. This means this single origin can be brewed in a variety of methods, such as drip, pour-over, espresso, and more. The goal of omniroasting is to create a coffee that is versatile and can be enjoyed by coffee lovers regardless of their brewing preferences.
