About the Producer
Danche Washing Station sits in the heart of Ethiopia's famous Yirgacheffe region, working with local smallholder farmers who cultivate traditional Ethiopian varieties at high elevations. The station is known for producing exceptionally clean and expressive coffees while exploring innovative processing methods rarely seen in Ethiopia.
About the Lot
This Red Honey lot begins with carefully selected ripe cherries that are fermented for 48 hours before being depulped, leaving much of the sticky mucilage intact. Slow drying on raised African beds develops a fuller body, creamy sweetness and outstanding clarity, resulting in a beautifully balanced and distinctive cup.
