What Recess Coffee say
One of my favourite coffees, and one we’ve been getting each year round. I always get excited when August rolls around and we can get our hands on some great Guatemalan coffees.
Finca Calahute is a family-run farm in San Pedro Necta, Huehuetenango, owned and operated by the Anzueto family since 1952. Today, the farm is run by third-generation producer Alfonso Anzueto, who has put a big focus on quality and improving the coffee coming out of the farm.
This washed coffee is sweet, smooth and ridiculously easy drinking. It’s got a full body, with notes of black tea, fresh peach and plum, a nice balance that makes it a coffee you can happily drink all day.
Just an all-round great coffee that we’re stoked to have around!
