What Recess Coffee say

A richer, fuller take on our Espresso. This is the first edition of our darker espresso, which we’ll be running at Recess for some of the city slickers who like their coffee a little more on the dark side.

It’s a blend of two coffees - a natural Brazilian Airumá and a washed Ethiopian Shakisso. The Brazilian brings plenty of body, nuttiness and cocoa, while the Ethiopian helps balance things out with some stone fruit, acidity and a little more lift in the cup.

Expect lots of roasted hazelnut, cocoa and a thick, syrupy crema, with some fresh orange citrus coming through as well. Full, smooth and rich, with just enough acidity to keep things interesting.
