Jam and Cherry
Cup Profile This Gesha offers a lifted, aromatic cup defined by ripe cherry and red-fruit jam. Bright passionfruit acidity adds vibrancy and clarity, carrying through to a delicate, lingering lemonade finish. Soft caramel sweetness provides balance and composure, enhancing the coffee’s natural elegance without overshadowing its finesse. Clean, expressive, and finely structured from first sip to finish.
Producer & Process Luis is a Top 30 finalist of the 2016 Huila Best Cup competition. His coffee journey began with a small lot gifted by his father and has since grown through continual refinement of both farming and processing practices. Coffee is a family pursuit on the farm, with each member working together as a team. Luis selectively harvests only ripe cherries, applies a 25-hour dry fermentation, and dries the coffee slowly in a parabolic dryer for an average of 25 days.
Bean Select – Gesha Focus The Bean Select range brings together coffees sourced from multiple farms and carefully blended to highlight the inherent potential of Gesha and Gesha-influenced varieties. These lots reflect meticulous attention to detail at the producer level and, despite being blended, maintain microlot-level quality with a high degree of traceability.
Origin – Huila, Colombia Located in southwestern Colombia, Huila sits between the Central and Eastern ranges of the Andes, with the Magdalena Valley running through its centre. Significant variations in elevation, combined with favourable climate and staggered harvest cycles, make Huila one of Colombia’s most complex and distinctive coffee-growing regions. At its core, the region’s exceptional quality is driven by the dedication and skill of its producers.
