About This Coffee
Sourced from the village of Koke in southern Ethiopia's Gedeo zone, this red honey processed coffee is the result of 2040 smallholder farmers delivering their finest harvest to the Koke Shalaye washing station. Grown at high altitude with landrace varieties that have harmonised with the environment for generations, the coffee is naturally organic in all but name.
Expect a bright, layered cup — the small bean size belies the intensity within. Elevated acidity and dense complex fruit are the hallmarks of this origin, rounded by the sweetness the honey process imparts.
