Sidamo is a regional state in southern Ethiopia, situated in the famous Great Rift Valley that runs through Ethiopia and Kenya. The high altitudes at which this coffee is grown give the beans a naturally high density and contributes to its unique flavour notes of wine and chocolate, providing a bright citrus acidity. The farmers cultivate their coffee in bird and forest-friendly conditions, employing organic agricultural techniques, such as intercropping with food crops to enhance soil fertility.
