What STOKA Coffee Roasters say
Decaf doesn't have to mean boring. This Mexican beauty from Chiapas is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process—a natural method that strips the caffeine while keeping all the good stuff intact. No chemicals, just pure, full-flavored coffee that lets you enjoy your cup any time of day. A Mexican mountain water processed decaf with a rich, silky and full body with a hint of cinnamon.
- Hydration: The green beans are soaked in pure glacial water from Mexico’s highest mountain to soften them and expand their pores.
Extraction: The caffeine is naturally removed through osmosis by filtering the water through activated charcoal, leaving the coffee's essential oils and flavors behind.
Purification: The beans are then carefully dried and polished, returning them to their natural state with 99.9% of the caffeine removed and the flavor profile perfectly preserved.
