This Guatemalan coffee hails from the region of Huehuetenango, known for producing exceptional beans that stand out in the coffee world. Founded in 1967, Cooperative Rio Azul has 186 members, and a long history of producing some of the best coffee exported under the famed Huehuetenango regional mark. This coffee is renowned for it’s powerful and distinctive qualities, and robust character even after undergoing the fully washed process. This lot struck us as really capturing the traditional flavours of the region.
