Faustin Ribalimana

Faustin Ribalimana has over four decades of experience cultivating coffee in Rwanda and has been a member of the Dukunde Kawa Cooperative since 2003. Through ongoing agronomic training, he continues to refine his farming practices to produce high-quality coffee.

His farm is planted with carefully managed coffee trees, intercropped with taro, squash, and banana to improve soil health, provide shade, and encourage healthy cherry development. Weeding, mulching, fertilising, and pruning are all carried out by hand throughout the year.

After harvest, Faustin delivers his cherries to the Ruli washing station, where they are processed through the cooperative's quality-focused system.

In the cup, this coffee tastes like white peach and cranberry, with an oolong tea finish.
