What Bench Coffee Co. say

This Catuai lot was produced by Pedro Flores on his family farm, El Mirador, in Bolivia's Caranavi province.

El Mirador is planted with Caturra, Catuai, and Typica varieties, with this particular lot harvested from the highest section of the farm. At these elevations, cherry maturation slows down, allowing sugars to develop more gradually and resulting in a cup with greater sweetness and complexity.

This coffee was processed via the washed method at Buena Vista washing station, where it underwent a fermentation stage prior to being washed and dried.

In the cup, this coffee tastes like pear and plum, with milk chocolate undertones.
